In a society that wants you to stay the same, how do you fight the obstacles it throws in your path when you decide to change? Kieran Adronic spent nine years as both the muscle, and the closest confidant of notorious North London gang lord, Patrick O’Neill - his maternal uncle. Deciding he could no longer bear the cost to his personal life, Kieran left organised crime - only to find that London is not a city that will allow him to make that change easily. He now works undocumented, and for scraps - struggling to make ends meet. Worse still, the romantic love he feared impossible as a violent gangster, has failed to materialise. He has hit rock-bottom.
