### 4.1.0 - v4.1.0 - New Resurrection Cutscene Added! - Hello Residents, this is NINEHECTARE! - First of all, thank you so much for the positive feedback following the 4.0 update! - Your comments about the game being mostly bug-free have been a huge encouragement to our dev team. - We are now releasing version 4.1, which includes a new H-scene, new Memories, and minor bug fixes! - New H-scene Added - The new H-scene features 'Hagenith'! - We genuinely appreciate the recent feedback pointing out the significant issue of Hagenith lacking an H-scene! - In fact, we had been preparing this for a month, but the update was delayed due to the Christmas and year-end holidays. We are happy to finally unveil it! - You can view 'Hagenith's' scene whenever you resurrect after death. - We plan to continue adding various cutscenes like this in the future. - The next cutscene will feature either the Protagonist or APIS. - Please leave a comment on who you would like to see first, and we will prioritize working on it! - New Memories Added - New usable memories have been added to the Altar of Memory! It's the Eloneys. - Details are a spoiler, but you will be able to use Eloney's unique abilities! - We have also fixed a bug where passive skills would trigger infinitely on ranged units in Vespa's memory. - Future Improvements - There are two major revamps remaining: 'Ku'kul's' Altar and the Farming & Housing content. - We developed both with great ambition, but due to technical limitations at the time, we missed the timing for a revamp. - First, we plan to improve how Ku'kul coins are acquired! - Instead of selecting trinkets from the left window to get coins, we plan to completely revamp it into a system where placing a relic automatically converts it into coins, similar to other combination windows. - Farming and Housing are also scheduled for improvements, and we will share the details once a concrete plan is in place! - Finally, we are currently developing the DLC for GRAY HAVEN! ### 4.0.0 - v4.0.0 - This 4.0 version goes beyond simple adjustments; we have completely overhauled the foundational dungeon structures and trimmed unnecessary content to focus on the 'Core Fun.' Most importantly, we have established a structure that allows for easy content expansion, ensuring steady support in the future! - 1. Total Overhaul of Dungeon Structure & Content - The ultimate goal of this update is "Core Fun." - We have boldly removed elements that hindered the play experience and increased the density of the dungeons. - Dungeon Reconstruction & Visual Enhancement - Route Optimization: Dungeon structures that were excessively long or confusing, such as 'Stein Camp' and the 'Entrance to the Realm of Death,' have been intuitively redesigned. Unnecessary travel time is reduced, and the tempo of combat is now faster. - Improved Map Quality: We have enhanced the lighting, prop density, and resources across all maps to strengthen the bleak and immersive atmosphere unique to GRAY HAVEN. - Removal of Unnecessary Content: Inefficient sub-content that broke the flow of play or offered minimal rewards has been removed. Instead, we focused our energy on the unique mechanics of each dungeon and the inherent fun of combat. - Introduction of Schema (Rift) Dungeons - 'Schema Portals' will now appear randomly while moving through maps. - Achieve extreme missions, such as escaping or defeating enemies within a time limit, to earn special rewards. - Even if you fail, you return to your original location without penalty, so we encourage you to take the challenge! - 2. Game Balance & Combat Difficulty Adjustments - For our experienced residents, we have significantly increased the tension of combat. - Increased Elite Monster Difficulty - Elite grade monsters and above are now stronger and smarter. Not only have their HP and attack power been increased, but their patterns have also been made more threatening, transforming them from simple 'sandbags' into enemies that require a tactical approach. - Monster AI Fixes: Fixed an issue where some monsters would stand idle, creating a more organic combat environment. - Altar System & Difficulty Integration - Streamlined Difficulty System: The 'Nightmare Level 5' and 'Curse' systems, which had similar effects, have been integrated into one to provide a more intuitive difficulty progression. - Enhanced Rogue-like Elements: When choosing the 'Altar of Pride,' debuffs will change randomly with each dungeon move, requiring a new strategy every time. - New 'Altar of Greed': Added strategic options where you can pay Souls to receive powerful rewards or increase your number of revivals. - 3. Major System Additions & Quality of Life Improvements - Ending Revert - We have removed the burden of having to restart from the beginning after a Normal or Bad ending. Immediately after an ending, you can return to the last branching point to explore other choices. (Excluding the Happy Ending, which is the conclusion of the story.) - Dungeon Lost Property System - While you lose some items upon death in a dungeon, we have implemented a safety net where you can retrieve them through the NPC 'Dayna.' - However, they will disappear completely if you close the game! - Relic (Formerly Ornament) System Overhaul - Ornaments have been renamed to 'Relics,' and we have added a feature that allows you to preview the list of major items obtainable before entering a dungeon. - 4. NSFW Content Expansion & Channel Info - From now on, defeat cutscenes will appear when the protagonist loses, and victory cutscenes will appear when they win. - Of course, these are Adult-only! - While the review is still in progress, they will soon be posted on Patreon and other platforms, and new cutscenes are planned to be added with every update! - Additionally, you can follow our development process through the channels below. - NSFW Content Expansion: - We release 2-3 new NSFW illustrations every month via Patreon (US), Fanbox (Japan), and Postype (Korea). - Differentiation: Artbooks will be released immediately through external channels, and for in-game DLC or updates, we plan to provide a differentiated experience including voices and exclusive interaction content. - 5. Artbook DLC Released! - The Artbook DLC is finally here! - This isn't just a DLC release; new resident outfits will be unlocked for Artbook purchasers! - This is also to test if the interactions between the game DLC and the main game are functioning correctly. - We will continue to release even more diverse content sequentially~!!! - Since November 22nd, many of you have helped us complete the 4.0 update for about a month! - In particular, we focused on the essence of GRAY HAVEN and overhauled the old interface and content to match modern trends. - Also, as this update focused on stability and new feature implementation, defeat cutscenes and new memories were unfortunately not included. However, they will be added in the upcoming 4.1 update! - 3.2.0 - <GRAY HAVEN> Update Roadmap - Of course, we can’t forget about <GRAY HAVEN>! - Before releasing the upcoming DLC, we plan to push an update focused on improving various quality-of-life features. - However, please note that while testing these new systems, some builds might be unstable or contain unexpected bugs. - We’ll do our best to identify and resolve any issues quickly to ensure a smooth experience. - Below is a summary of recent major improvements and fixes. - Major Improvements - Dungeon & QoL Features - Black Temple & Arena: - The maximum accessible floor has been expanded to 999. - Difficulty Save: - The game now remembers your last challenge difficulty, allowing you to resume directly from that floor next time. - Controller Vibration: - A new ON/OFF toggle for vibration has been added to the settings menu. - Crafting & Decoration - Batch Crafting: - You can now hold the R key (keyboard) to craft multiple items at once when making furniture or cooking. - Furniture Buff Display: - Buff effects from placed furniture are now shown in tooltips. (Some furniture effects have been adjusted.) - Large-Scale Farming: - 3x3 and 2x2 farming kits have been added to Stein’s Shop, allowing easier large-field cultivation. - Reward Display - Item Info: - Hover over items on the dungeon clear screen to instantly see detailed information. - Combat & Balance Adjustments - Maid Robot, Guard Robot: - Added new attack patterns that occasionally release shockwaves during standard motions. - Rock Wraith: - Added new triple-attack patterns and status-inflicting moves. Beware—the third strike is especially strong! - High Wraith: - Added a new short dash attack pattern. - Rifle Guardbot (Ranged Adjustment): - Now takes an aiming stance before firing, making attack timing easier to predict. - Slightly increased attack range and reduced projectile speed for better dodging balance. - Swordmaster (Slash Oni) — Melee Adjustment: - Significantly reduced attack delay and slightly increased attack range. - Added visual effects to indicate attack timing based on new speed changes. - Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue where the game would occasionally freeze when entering the Options menu from the title screen. - Once again, thank you all for continuing to enjoy our games. - We’ll keep doing our best to bring you exciting updates in the future! - We truly appreciate your continued support. - 3.1.2 HotFix - What’s New - New romance cutscene rough released - We’ve uploaded the rough to Patreon. Anyone can view it without a pledge. - Bugs Fixed in This Patch - Quickslot crash issue: fixed data corruption that occurred when switching quickslots and then registering and using food items in slots 2–4. - “For Ella” mission: fixed the issue where the door in front of the portal wouldn’t open after defeating the boss “Security Chief, Electronic Wraith.” - Mei’s side quest “Finding Mei’s Lost Memories”: fixed the problem of Mei’s model holding incorrect items in both hands during the event cutscene. - Death inside Stein Arena / Black Temple: fixed inability to open pause or inventory menus and use active skills after dying. - Items remaining on the field after map transition: fixed so items no longer persist when moving to another map. - Stein purchase screen: fixed the bug where the item details window stayed open continuously. - Title screen return option error: temporary measure – see details below. - Temporary Measure: Remove “Go to Main Menu” Button - Reason for Removal - Selecting “Exit to Title” triggered a data load error, so we’ve temporarily disabled this function to prevent corruption during play. - Alternative Plan - We plan to implement an in-game feature to load previous saves directly, eliminating the need to rely on the main menu for restoring progress. - Future Improvements - Enhance Altar of Emotions rewards in Stein Arena - We plan to add a system that grants additional Ku’kul Coins or special buffs when the Altar of Emotions buff reaches 5 stacks. Any great ideas are always welcome! - Report Request - Some users have reported the executable file (Gray Haven.exe) missing after the update. - We’re investigating the cause—if you encounter the same issue, please report it in the comments. - Thank you always for your valuable feedback and for playing. - Sincerely, NINEHECTARE - 3.2.0 - <GRAY HAVEN> H-scene Delay Notice - We’ve received a rejection from the Korean rating board... - If the review isn’t approved by November 20, 2025, we may proceed with an earlier release in other regions.
