Mikaze, a young apprentice of the Exorcism Association, dedicates her days and nights to battling "youkai." One afternoon, while resting at the association's branch, she finds herself caught in the chaos of a sudden youkai invasion. With the protective barrier rendering others powerless, Mikaze is the only one capable of fighting back. Determined to eliminate the source of the attack, she ventures out alone to confront the enemy.
