Week 9 is out, and so are ten new bond scenes, new uses for the character traits, CONTESTS, new dungeons, a new wild area with over twenty new 'mons, more new characters than you can shake a stick at, and more! "Week 8.5" features five new bond scenes, four new mini-scenes, resprites and rewrites, and a load of bugfixes and QoL changes, including a Dex, a reworked inventory system, a new Frenzy, and a Mystery Gift! ### 7.29b.2024 - v7.29b.2024 - Update 7.29b.2024 is out! - The game has been written out to the end of Week 8, on May 30th. - Dawn, Rosa, Janine, Misty, Erika, Silver, a Secret Character, and Cheren have character scenes. - 24 Foreverals have been created, unlocked by viewing the character scenes listed above. - Many new 'generic class scenes' have been created--every class has at least thirty, with many having forty. MMCC continues to cook. - A new mechanic has been introduced that will become rather important over the next two in-game weeks. - Please report bugs and typos in⁠ ⁠⁠bugs and #⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠typos, and give feedback in the appropriate channels. Download links are, of course, in ⁠⁠downloads. This week also comes with a variety of retcons--changes or states of being that existed previously that I have thought on, and wish to remove. As these may not be immediately apparent, I will list them here, as there's much potential for confusion when it comes to retcons. - Mechanical Retcons - Rosa and Hilda no longer swap classes. This means Rosa does not give up her Pikachu. - Nate will now swap classes from Electric to Dark, shortly after Week 7 Tuesday. If he acquired Toxel on Springsday, he will give it to Rosa. - Wally has been made a Fairy/Fighting trainer, and Sonia has been made an Electric/Fire one, retroactively. - The dungeon system has been entirely reworked, with new dialog, mechanics, rewards, and tutorials, starting on the 10th of May. Dungeons are now, in my estimation, slightly harder, but much easier to understand, and much faster to go through. - Several Foreverals have been removed or changed. You will still have access to any FVLs that have the same - name - as they had previously, regardless of if you have still fulfilled the conditions to get them. - Narrative Retcons - Battle Team outfits have been retroactively added to the meetings, starting on the 14th of May. - Eri has been removed from her prior scenes, and will reappear in a more fitting role in a future chapter. - Jasmine no longer uses a cane. She still suffers from all other afflictions stated previously. (Poor dear.) - Removed Ethan. ### 05.11.2024 - v05.11.2024 - My hope is that this will be the last iteration of Week 7, and I can make full progress on the Week 7.5 update after this. Still, if it needs another release, then it'll get one. Included in this release are bugfixes for a few bugs, such as: - Eevee can evolve into Sylveon now. - The gifting system isn't entirely broken anymore. - Repels, Super Repels, and Max Repels no longer work based on levels, but instead operate on rarity levels. Repels prevent common Pokémon from appearing, Super Repels keep common and uncommon Pokémon from appearing, and Max Repels prevent common, uncommon, and rare Pokémon from appearing, leaving only Super-Rare and Ultra-Rare Pokémon. - Fixed an issue where Blue's Pokemon would have infinite PP during a certain fight. - Various other minor bugs and typos. - And, apparently, looking over the changelog, I included a file I shouldn't have, that's relevant to the Dungeon revamps.
